Larry Lenz named Logistics Manager for Garst Seed Company

Slater, Iowa

Garst Seed Company officials announce the appointment of Larry Lenz as the company's Logistics Manager.  "We are very pleased to announce Larry Lenz as Garst's new Logistics
Manager," says Steve Klein, Director of Sales and Marketing for Garst Seed Company. "Lenz brings a wealth of company experience and a diverse background in customer service and inventory management to this newly created position within Garst." 

As the Logistics Manager, Lenz will coordinate the activities of the Customer Service Department and the functions and activities of the Distribution Department. "These two departments work very closely with the sales force and other departments throughout the company in order to maximize service to our customers," explains Klein. "The Logistics Manager will play a key role in making sure our seed products are delivered to our customers in a timely and efficient manner."

Lenz is a six year employee of Garst Seed Company and most recently served as the company's Financial Services Manager and also served as Customer Service Manger for several years. Before joining Garst, Lenz worked in the State of Iowa Department of Agriculture as a regulatory accountant. Lenz, along with his wife Rhonda, have two children, Colton and Kayla and live in Coon Rapids, Iowa. He is a native of Early, Iowa, his parents are Mary Rose Lenz and the late Richard. Lenz is a graduate of University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
