On the morning of June 26, 2025, at the Forum "Promoting cooperation and development of the Vietnam - China seed industry", AHLĐ Trần Mạnh Bảo - Chairman of the Vietnam Seed Trade Association, Chairman of ThaiBinh Seed Group delivered the opening speech, affirming the strategic role of the seed industry in modern agriculture and the importance of international cooperation between Vietnam and China.

🗣“Variety is the beginning and decisive factor for success in agricultural production. In the context of climate change and globalization, the seed industry needs to adapt flexibly, creating high-yield, good-quality varieties that are suitable for the trend of green - smart - circular agriculture.” – Mr. Bao emphasized.
🔎At the forum, scientists and businesses from both countries shared research results, exchanged experiences, discussed technology transfer and trade promotion of plant varieties. This is an important step to:
👉Scientists from both countries exchanged research results and orientations for selecting and creating plant varieties suitable for ecological conditions of each region;
👉Enterprises share needs and opportunities for cooperation in production, trade, testing, inspection and technology transfer of plant varieties;
👉Management agencies and businesses discussed to harmonize the legal framework, creating favorable conditions for seed trade between the two countries to develop stably, transparently and sustainably.

🌐With more than 1,000 enterprises operating in the seed industry in Vietnam, Mr. Tran Manh Bao affirmed: Vietnam is a potential market for investment activities, technology transfer and cooperation in developing plant varieties. The Vietnam Seed Trade Association is committed to continuing to be a bridge between domestic and foreign partners, especially China - an important market in the region.
