CLCLHA03
As rice markets become more selective, what defines a successful variety is evolving. Yield still matters, but it's no longer the only factor that determines success once rice leaves the field. Milling consistency, cooking quality and alignment with buyer expectations now play a much bigger role in how varieties are evaluated.
We can always produce rice. The real opportunity is understanding what the market values — and aligning decisions to meet those expectations.
CLHA03 was developed with that alignment in mind, starting with strong agronomic fundamentals. It features a semi-dwarf plant type with moderate lodging resistance to support standability and harvest efficiency, along with flexible maturity timing at approximately 50 percent heading in 81 days. Recommended seeding and nitrogen rates allow it to fit a wide range of management systems.
That agronomic foundation translates into performance that matters after harvest. In the 2025 Arkansas Rice Performance Trials, CLHA03 ranked in the top three for highest milling yield and showed some of the least variability from trial to trial.
High, stable milling is something the market pays attention to. When a variety mills consistently and meets buyer expectations, it's easier to move — and ultimately more valuable.
Success comes from producing rice with a clear place in the market.
