United Kingdom - Corteva Agriscience's intermediate-maturity maize hybrid P7364 proves its strength in challenging dry conditions - delivering standout results in 2025

Corteva Agriscience is pleased to highlight the exceptional performance of P7364, an intermediate-maturity Pioneer® maize hybrid, following four years of rigorous on‑farm testing through the PACTS® programme. The 2026-27 PACTS Maize Hybrids booklet provides extensive evidence of P7364’s consistency, resilience, and ability to deliver high dry matter yields even in difficult growing seasons.

Across four years of PACTS Trials, P7364 delivered a 9% dry matter yield advantage over the Control hybrid on favourable sites. This standout advantage positions P7364 as one of the most reliable performers where high yield and robust agronomics are priorities.

Notably P7364 also delivered a superior performance in the dry year of 2025, demonstrating strength under moisture‑limiting conditions. This reinforces P7364’s suitability for growers seeking dependable output in low rainfall areas.

P7364 is a tall, early‑maturity hybrid with good early vigour and very good lodging resistance. Its agronomic strengths are further supported by an eyespot resistance score of 7.0, giving it a strong plant health profile.

P7364’s performance is backed by extensive PACTS testing:

  • 34 favourable PACTS open locations and
  • 24 less favourable PACTS open locations tested over four years,
with an additional 16 sites under film over five years.

In multi‑year favourable‑site comparisons, P7364 delivered:

  • 36.7% average dry matter,
  • 16.18 t/ha average dry matter yield,
  • and a 108.8% Yield Index vs Control, indicating consistent above‑benchmark performance

P7364 also contributes strongly to biogas output. In favourable‑site biogas calculations, it delivered a methane yield of 5,416,710 litres per hectare. This places it amongst the solid performers for growers targeting both silage and energy production.
