Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the General Manager Crops is a senior strategic leader accountable for defining and executing global marketing strategies for corn and solanaceae to drive sustainable financial growth and market leadership. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Seed Operations, and R&D to ensure alignment with market needs and business objectives. Main missions are as follows :

Crop Portfolio Strategy & Execution

• Define and execute a globally aligned crop portfolio strategy to ensure market relevance, competitiveness, and sustainable growth.
• Establish crop portfolio governance and global synergies, prioritization, lifecycle management, and crop planning, including new product launches and phase-outs.

Market intelligence & Value proposition

• Lead market, customer, and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and trends.
• Develop strong value propositions, brand positioning, and consistent global messaging, ensuring customer-centric strategies.

Financial performance & Growth

• Optimize portfolio investments to drive profitability, revenue growth, and sustainable business performance.
• Monitor financial KPIs, pricing strategies, forecasting, and pipeline performance.

Leadership & Talent Development

• Build and develop high-performing global teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement

THIS JOB IS FOR YOU IF...

• You have a degree in marketing, business administration, agricultural sciences, agronomy or related fields
• You have more than 10 years of proven experience in a similar global/regional marketing leadership role within a seed company or within agribusiness sector.
• Solid proven experience in driving global product portfolio in all or any of these regions (Asia, Latam, Africa)
• You are a natural leader with a hands-on approach and customer focused mindset
• You speak fluently English
