Bangladesh
April 15, 2026
On April 9, 2026, East-West Seed Bangladesh hosted its Prime Customer Meet, bringing together our top distributors under the theme “Build on Trust, Growing as One.” The day was designed to move past standard corporate talk and focus on real collaboration, practical business strategies, and strengthening the personal bonds that keep our industry moving.

Country Manager Mostafa Kamal opened the session with a clear, high-energy roadmap for the year. We were also joined virtually by Shivkumar G C, Regional Business Head for Growth Markets, who gave a sincere thanks to our Bangladeshi partners. He noted that their hard work on the ground has officially put Bangladesh on the map as a key growth market for the company, and he shared his genuine optimism for what we can achieve together in the coming years.
The day was supported by our local leadership team, who all contributed practical insights into how we can better support our partners’ operations.
To get everyone out of the boardroom and working together as a team, we hit the field for a friendly football match. It was a great way to build some camaraderie and reinforce the idea that winning in the market requires the same kind of trust and teamwork we saw on the pitch.

The business side of the meeting stayed focused on three main goals:
-
New Varieties: Our product Manager walked everyone through our current top performers and gave an honest look at the new seeds we have in the pipeline to help our distributors stay ahead.
-
Sales Strategy: Our Sales Manager broke down the current market landscape, sharing straightforward tactics on how we can all grow our footprint in a changing environment.
-
One-on-One Planning: We ended the day with individual sit-downs to look at the numbers. These sessions were about creating specific, realistic plans to help each partner double their business through tailored support.
This meet-up confirmed what we already knew: our strength comes from the trust we have in one another. At East-West Seed, we aren’t just moving products; we are working side-by-side with our partners to build a better, more profitable future for the farmers of Bangladesh.
