The Context Network names Asha Lundal Partner

West Des Moines, Iowa, USA
October 8, 2013

The Context Network, a world leader in agriculture and bioscience management consulting, has named Asha Lundal as a Partner in the firm. Lundal joined Context in 2011 as a Senior Associate. During the past two years, she has applied her extensive portfolio of industry relationships and expertise to consistently deliver strategic successes for her clients.

Context Partner, Mark Holland said, “Asha’s success is driven by the way she interacts with clients and their challenges. She is quick to identify issues, design and organize projects that effectively accomplish goals, and deliver results to her clients. In the current business climate, it is essential to accurately understand cutting-edge science and technology issues, and to execute effective business strategies that bring them to fruition. This is where Asha truly excels. She will no doubt continue to provide her current and future clients with unparalleled results.”

Holland added, “Her rapid rise to the leadership role of Partner comes from her vast hands-on experience and expertise across key functional areas, including finance, strategy, deal negotiation and execution on both research and commercial sides of the business.”

Lundal said she looks forward to helping propel Context’s growth. “Given the increasingly rapid pace of change and complexity of the agri-science industry, our clients require business strategies that are highly synchronized, from basic research through commercialization. Context’s global network of seasoned executives and domain experts is uniquely positioned to bring custom, full-cycle solutions to our clients. I am excited to be a part of this remarkable team, and I look forward to continuing to expand Context’s capabilities and our ability to help our clients succeed.”

Lundal holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Finance from University of Missouri, Columbia. She has traveled extensively throughout her career, and is skilled in multi-cultural business negotiations and environments. Lundal has been recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal in their “Forty Under Forty”, and by the YWCA for corporate leadership.
Lundal joins fellow Context Partners, Tray Thomas, Blake Sieker, Mike Borel, Mark Holland, Nathan Ramsey, Mark Nelson, Dr. James Mann, and Jim Eckles in leading the growing agribusiness management consulting firm.

The Context Network provides business management and strategy consulting services to the world’s leading agriculture, biotechnology and food companies and government agencies and institutions. Major areas of expertise include strategy, merger and acquisition support, valuation of new technologies, formation of alliances, and market research. The West Des Moines-based firm is composed of a core of professional consultants that is complemented by a network of industry and subject matter experts worldwide.
