According to Article 6 of the Regulation (EC) No 396/2005, Greece received an application from Efthymiadis Agrotechnology Group to modify the existing MRL for quizalofop-P in sunflower seeds and cotton seeds. In order to accommodate for the intended use of quizalofop-P-tefuryl in Greece, it is proposed to raise the existing MRLs for quizalofop (established for the residue definition quizalofop (including quizalofop-P)) in sunflower seed and cotton seed from 0.1 mg/kg (set at the limit of quantification) to 1 mg/kg and 0.2 mg/kg, respectively. Greece drafted an evaluation report according to Article 8 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 which was submitted to the European Commission and forwarded to EFSA on 31 July 2009.
