Ceradis, a spin-off of the University of Wageningen, is pleased to announce that its new General Manager will be Willem-Jan Meulemeesters.
Currently the Director of Finance and Latin America, Willem-Jan will take over from Aart Jan Vos, who leaves the company for another opportunity. This change will be effective July 1.
Willem-Jan (39 years old) has been bringing broad financial and managerial experience to Ceradis since he joined over two years ago. In his roles in Finance and Latin America, Willem-Jan has demonstrated strong leadership and progressed the company’s ambitious program of commercial growth and ongoing further professionalization.
Earlier, Willem-Jan worked for 7 years at McKinsey & Company, specializing in Strategy, Operations and Sustainability. He left to be co-founder of Helio, a solar charger start-up where his role was CFO & COO. and then supported several companies as an independent interim manager.
André Goig (chairman Supervisory Board), an experienced ag professional who has served in various executive roles in Crop Protection and Seeds at Syngenta, (recently took over the chairmanship of Ceradis Supervisory Board) “As Willem-Jan takes over as new General Manager, we are confident in his ability to align the unique technology of CERADIS with innovative new product development initiatives and to drive commercialization of our low-risk fungicides.
