INCOTEC sponsors First-the Seed Foundation benefit event

INCOTEC sponsored the first fund raising event for the First-the Seed Foundation at the American Seed Trade Association 127th Annual Convention held in San Antonio, Texas. The event was held at the National Shooting Complex where 25 shooters participated with the help of instructors shot 50 rounds of sporting clays. The occasion ended at the clubhouse with a BBQ dinner. Dave Pickenpaugh, INCOTEC’s President and General Manager in North America stated “INCOTEC was honored to sponsor this event and look forward to making this a regular occasion at the ASTA Annual meetings. We would also like to thank Pioneer, a DuPont Company for their support of trophies presented to the winners and hats awarded to all participants”.

The winner of the men’s class was Richard Denhart of the Illinois Seed Trade Association. The women’s class winner was Tammy Lundell, spouse of David Lundell of Dennis Combs, Agriculture Consultant.

The First-the Seed Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established in 2008 by the American Seed Trade Association, one of the oldest trade associations in America, to inform today’s consumers and tomorrow’s workforce about the importance of the seed industry.
