Limgroup recently introduced its Aspalim and Starlim varieties. Both varieties start producing early in their own segments and have distinctive qualities. Aspalim thrives in areas with a northwest European climate type. Aspalim tolerates long and cold winters and is able to produce explosively in spring. Starlim is a variety for green asparagus production and is suitable for temperate climate regions similar to the Mediterranean climate. Starlim has an early production start, combined with excellent spear thickness.
